Bing recently began incorporating five times more social results into searches.
Following Facebook's recent announcement of Graph Search, Bing announced its own plans to shake up search results. The search engine will now incorporate five times more Facebook content on its results pages, creating a more social experience for anyone who uses the site.
What you should know about the Bing-Facebook deal
Now when your customers and prospects search Bing, they'll see some of the same results that they always did, but they'll also find results connected to their Facebook accounts. This means not only will they be able to find your property reviews and relevant links, but they'll also see their friends' likes, comments and photos that relate to their search term.
Why does this matter?
A recent Nielsen study revealed 92 percent of consumers say they trust word-of-mouth recommendations from friends and family, even more than other forms of advertising. This stat, coupled with the Bing/Facebook alliance, make ongoing management of your Facebook page more important than ever.
