Sales and marketing leaders share results, best practices to help senior living during uncertain times

Leads and new move-ins dropped more than 30% in senior living during the month of March 2020, according to a new report by G5. An informal, anonymous survey of G5 clients collected responses covering more than 344 properties across the United States. Information was also collected from Google as well as G5 Analytics, part of G5’s data platform.

The report highlights best practices such as:

  • The rising popularity of virtual tours
  • Impact of coronavirus on sales and marketing budgets
  • Balancing new move-ins with protecting existing residents and staff
  • Use of social media
  • And the top priorities for senior living sales and marketing in April

“Senior living is one big family,” said Jamison Gosselin, vice president of Senior Living for G5. “No other business sector out there works so collaboratively together to share best practices to promote and protect quality of life for the seniors they serve. I was thrilled by some of the best practices we saw being implemented in sales and marketing right now.”
