Experienced Multifamily Leaders to Provide Strategic, Client-Centered Approach to Accelerate Growth

BEND, Ore. – August 27, 2019 – G5, the leader in real estate marketing optimization, announced today two additions to its multifamily leadership team. Karen Blue will serve as vice president of national accounts, responsible for building a team to service G5’s rapidly growing install base. Kathie Cook will hold the role of key account executive, overseeing key accounts in the western United States.

Karen Blue

Blue brings more than 30 years of industry knowledge to her new role. Prior to joining G5, Blue served as vice president of national accounts at Apartments.com, a CoStar company, where she built and managed a national team who oversaw their top 50 accounts. She started her career in multifamily on the property management side and later moved into vendor partnerships.

Blue reports directly to Ben Steward, vice president, multifamily.

“Karen’s expertise in revenue generation, strategic thinking, and partner and client relations will be a huge asset for G5 in meeting the needs of our fast-growing client portfolio,” said Steward. “Her experience on both sides of multifamily management will help owners and operators  amplify their marketing impact, increasing awareness and the bottom line.”

“My goal is to build a team that is passionate and knowledgeable about the multifamily industry,” said Blue. “I am excited to use my experience to further G5’s business objectives and drive our mission forward.”

Kathie Cook

With more than 15 years of experience, Cook started in multifamily working with clients to drive more qualified leads to their properties. Prior to joining G5, Cook spent nearly five years with ResMan Property Management Software as the regional vice president of sales for the Northwest territory, working with top executives to increase NOI through improved efficiencies.

Cook reports directly to Steward.

“Kathie brings a wealth of sales and marketing expertise to G5 as well as long-term relationships throughout the multifamily industry,” said Steward. “Her focus on promoting strong and seamless connections with clients and an in-depth understanding of their business will be key for us.”

“The multifamily market is undergoing a digital transformation driven by seismic shifts in user behavior. Companies who fail to adopt new technologies will fall behind and lose out on qualified leads,” continued Steward. “G5’s platform is built for multifamily, meeting the industry where it is and showing it where it could be. We’re thrilled to be adding these two seasoned multifamily veterans at such an exciting time.”
